MASSAGE THERAPY

Swedish

A gentle, rhythmic massage that is very good to relax soft body tissue and facilitate healing. Swedish massage is lighter in touch than other forms of massage techniques and includes long flowing strokes, kneading, and friction techniques on more superficial layers of the muscles. It can loosen stiff joints, reduce muscle tension, and help clear nasal or chest congestion.

If needing a full body massage please book 75 or 90 minute sessions. *60 minute sessions will be customized to specific areas and not full body.

Deep Tissue

Focuses on re-aligning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back pain, leg muscle tightness and sore shoulders. *60 minute sessions will be customized to specific areas and not full body.

Prenatal

Prenatal treatments relieve many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as back aches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling). *Only 60 minute sessions are available.

Postnatal

Postnatal massage helps ease back aches, stress, fatigue, headaches and postpartum depression. In line with relaxation and reduced stress, a post natal massage eases exhaustion and assists you towards getting much-needed deeper sleep. *60 minute sessions will be customized to specific areas and not full body.

Hot Stone

The massage is performed using stones, typically river stones because they are smooth. These stones are heated in a warm bath prior to the massage and will be hot, but not too hot, when placed on the body. The heat therapy is one of the many reasons people love hot stone massages and find them relaxing. *Only 90 minute sessions available.
